HI, I'm Susie Hulst

I'm a wife and mom of four.

I produce bright, vibrant, true-to-color images.

Prepared and patient best describe my sessions.

I'm located in Dedham, IA.

I first picked up a DSLR camera while I was the Marketing Director for Kuemper Catholic School. I took thousands of photos for brochures, social media, the website, etc. However, it was in 2018, just after I had my 3rd child, that I desired to be a stay-at-home mom. This desire fueled my fire to learn all things photography. Photography was my plan to make up a lost income and allow myself to stay home with the kids. I remember waking up at 5:00am most mornings to watch my online photography lessons before getting the kids ready for school/daycare and off to work myself. Ohh, and my husband was also in paramedic school at the time. This was a TOUGH season of life to say the least.

Although I started photography as a way to support my family with supplemental income, it has become so much more than I ever thought it would. Being with families during some of their most intimate, cherished times of their lives is such a blessing and responsibility that I never take for granted. I love having the ability to give my clients such a precious gift.

As for the business and branding photography, I love helping fellow entrepreneurs grow their business with my talents and background. As a former marketing director, I know that great photos make a HUGE DIFFERENCE in showcasing products and organizations.
